Dr. Daniyel Iglesias
Dr. Iglesias is committed to providing personalized patient care through quality service and communication. He most recently graduated from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2020 where he completed a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry and was presented with the “Harry W. F. Dressel Award” for best clinical proficiency and patient care in the program. He initiated his dental education in the Dominican Republic during which time he also volunteered serving the community and the more remote areas within the country.
Dr. Iglesias is very accommodating when helping patients overcome dental fears by displaying patience and compassion. He is focused on achieving results that are patient-centered, helping them restore function and esthetics. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and is skilled in advanced dental technology. He has been trained to provide a variety of dental services including oral surgery, endodontics, fixed and removable dental prosthetics and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Iglesias started his dental studies in the Dominican Republic during which time he also donated portions of his time and clinical skills to serving the community and the more remote areas within the country. Following dental school, he studied and trained at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) department for two years and was ultimately recognized with the Harry W. F. Dressel Award.
It was during this time that Dr. Iglesias was able to gain knowledge, skills and proficiency with advanced dental technology to serve patient populations in need of more complex treatment plans.
He is focused on achieving results that are centered on restoring function without compromising esthetics. The AEGD residency focused not only on treatment planning but also oral surgery, endodontics, fixed and removable dental prosthetics, and restorative dentistry including composite restorations.
