Dentures and Partials
Dentures are a removable solution to replacing missing teeth. At our Coral Springs dental office, we offer two kinds of dentures—full and partial. Full dentures replace all of the teeth on an upper or lower arch, and partial dentures fit with existing dentition like a puzzle piece.
Dentures designed by an experienced denture dentist such as Dr. Kulick, Dr. Cohen, or Dr. Ghodsi will fit snuggly with your gum ridges. A denture adhesive can provide added support, though for optimal comfort, our doctors may recommend implant-supported dentures. Dental implants are the modern alternative to removable dentures. Because they're permanently affixed to the jawbone, you'll no longer experience slipping or clicking when you eat or talk. If your current dentures are broken or uncomfortable, call us. We repair dentures at our Coral Springs dental office, often in the same day.
Partial dentures consist of a few teeth on a gum-colored base. They're a great solution for patients who still have some healthy teeth. Partial dentures are secured with inconspicuous metal clasps or dental implants. Implant-supported partials are not removable, except by a dentist. Traditional partials can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
With today's modern denture materials, we can control the size, shape, and color of your dentures, potentially giving you the straight, white smile you've always wanted. Wax-up models allow us to show you what your new dentures will look like before treatment begins. Once in place, your new dentures will improve the look of your smile and fill out your face and profile.
